International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, IEEE Student Branch is a section in India Council under Region 10 of IEEE . The section office is located in the campus of IIIT Bhubaneswar. This branch was formed on 23rd June2011 with only 15 students members.The Student Branch gives students the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field.

Inaugural Function of IEEE Student Branch IIIT Bhubaneswar
Adding a fresh
vision to its arena IIIT Bhubaneswar organised a one day function to inaugurate
its student branch of IEEE society. The whole celebration started with a very
awe-inspiring aura, an enlightening speech by the Dean Ajit Kumar Das and Guest
of Honour, Prof. Sudarsan Padhy. Our honourable chief guest Dr. Shivaji
chakravorti paramounted his words of wisdom and his solemn remarks towards
students, and his indelible respect for the bond between a teacher and a disciple.
His tranquil and proficient persona amazed everyone. Prof. Chakravorti laid
down a strong foundation of the branch and gave a brief introduction to ‘What
